By integrating the HHSRS system into every inspection. he ensures that issues such as damp, mould , ventilation, and structural hazards are assessed not only for the building impact but also for the potential effect on occupant wellbeing and legal compliance

Depending on property size, complexity, and travel distance

Includes full diagnostic investigation, moisture data, photographic evidence, and written report with floor plan with recommendations

• Combined HHSRS + Damp & Timber Report: £450–£750

Comprehensive inspection covering both damp/moisture conditions and associated health and safety hazards under hhsrs guidance with mitigation recommendations

Landlord/ Letting Agent Packages

Damp Surveys £400-£500 per property with discounts available for multiple instructions

Portfolio of 5+ properties from £375

HHSRS Surveys £450- £600 per property

HHSRS and Damp full surveys combined includes full HHSRS report and full Damp report from £600-£800 per property

Engagement fee £100–£150 on instruction; balance due within 30 days. Reports remain property of C. Wood Surveys Ltd until paid. No-access or abortive visits are charged at 50% of the quoted fee if access is refused after 2 attempts

Disrepair / Legal / Expert Witness

CPR Part 35–Compliant Expert Witness Report (Statement of Truth)

From £650 – £950 per case

Includes site inspection, photographic and moisture evidence, floor plan and review of all supplied documentation, and a formally structured CPR 35 report with Statement of Truth suitable for submission in legal proceedings.

Court Attendance / Joint Inspection / Expert Meeting

From £600– £750 per day (plus travel and expenses)

Includes pre-hearing liaison, verbal clarification of findings, and attendance in person or by video link as required.

Desktop reviews (no site visit): £200 – £300
Priority turnaround (under 5 days): +20 % surcharge
All fees are payable regardless of the outcome of the court findings

Private engagements - fee transferred before survey report is released- price agreed before commencement of survey and subject to acceptance of signed contract

All expert and disrepair reports are prepared to CPR Part 35 standards.
